I definitely would recommend the Guisachan Guesthouse to all my friends and family. We recieved a warm welcome and all the staff were really friendly. Great view from the dining room while enjoying a great breakfast.

This guesthouse is close to the railway station and only a 5 minute walk from the town centre. It also has a free large car park.

Beautiful views, comfortable lounge, lovely breakfast, and very warm hosts. Definitely will be a mainstay for me when I need a base in the Highlands!

If you want to summit Ben Nevis, the hike to the mountain's base and visitor's centre is only 2 km. Go just a little further up the road and take the path into the woods, along the glen. It will also bring you to a very impressive panoramic viewpoint of Fort William and Loch Linnhe on the way!

This is a lovely warm and quiet guest house, close to the railway station and the delights of Fort William. I stayed in the the most wonderful tiny bedroom that was like being a student! It was a very comfortable and fun and ideal for a single traveller. A very comfortable lounge and plentiful breakfast make this a splendid stopping off place. Ace!

Although in a prime location, if walking to the guest house it's worth noting that the final 100yards or so is up a steep hill and a dozen or so steps. Those with a walking disability might find this a bit much.

We needed somewhere with easy access to the station (for The Jacobite), to a variety of places to eat, which was easy to find and had parking. We found all that plus friendly and helpful hosts, fabulous breakfast and a lovely lounge with bar where we enjoyed meeting travellers from all over. As a non whisky drinker in the home of whisky I must say thank you to Phil, for introducing me to a very enjoyable wee dram.

I knew I was going to have a positive experience when the owner of Guisachan Guest House notified me that I accidentally booked a room twice, and advised me that I may have made an error. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. They took care of every detail! The rooms were very clean and well cared for. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious, including accommodating challenging dietary restrictions. The location is excellent; it’s off the main road with a fantastic view. The staff were all great and clearly happy to be working there. Staying there was a great part of our trip.

A GH I hadn't stayed in for over 20 years. Great location .... close to town, station and leisure centre. Superbly appointed single room and private shower/toilet. Great hot and cold buffet breakfast catering for all tastes, served by friendly attentive staff and personal touch from the owner. Can't recommend highly enough.

The personal very kind and attentive in all our stance. The reception was excellent. The room was big with great views. The breakfast delicious continental and scotish. Seven minuts walking from the bus and train station.

We are biased because it is not our 1st stay but 5 nights this year. Clean comfortable and welcoming. A breakfast spread that will please most everybody. Some of the best views of the loch. Had the pleasure of staying here for two nights. We had the front twin room. Oh what a view. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding smelt and felt lovely. The room was spacious and very good storage. The bath with over shower was a real treat and there are complimentary shower gel ,shampoo and face cloths. The towel were super soft. The room has a TV but does not dominate the room. The next morning the breakfast surpassed my expectations great choice of buffet style continental foods, cooked breakfast with the usual sausage bacon eggs but also black pudding and haggis. If there was anything that you wanted what wasn't displayed the staff were attentive and obliging. There is a bar a very nice lounge and a additional lounge with a view to seat you for a long while. There is a very good drying room. There is available passes for the leisure centre at no cost. The owners allowed us yo leave our bags as our journey home was way pass our train journey home. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Fantastic stay in your wonderful Guest House at the end of terrific 6 days of walking the WHW. I was very excited to stay here when I was in Fort William. It had all the amenities I needed in a place to stay; close to the train station, beautiful view, comfortable room, and a delicious breakfast. I came super early due to my train arriving at 10 am and the staff were more than accommodating to store my luggage till my room was ready. I really felt like I was at home vs a hotel. Loved it.

Bring a good umbrella! When it rains it pours. Then you can explore more comfortably. There is a map at the check in desk and I highly recommend you use it to see the sights of the town.

Chose you place based on location. But very pleased to find such wonderful accommodation. Fantastic breakfast. Great drying room. And although our room had no view it was lovely to sit in the lounge with a wee dram and look out over the bay and the hills. Thanks for looking after us.

If, like us, you are finishing off the WHW then we would highly recommend staying here. The location is great, just off the Way a close to the station. Very comfortable rooms. Breakfast is second to none. And if you get the full Highland weather the drying room will sort you out while you have a nice dram in the bar. If you are in two minds the Guisachan Guesthouse is a good choice.

Definitely book in advance. The location is perfect for travelling. A 5 minute walk from the Train and Bus station. The view is sublime and so peaceful. The staff in the Train Station are very helpful and will point you in the right direction. Enjoy your stay.

If you are visiting Fort William Guisachan Guesthouse is well situated in the town. It looks like an Alpine Chalet and sits on a hill overlooking the town. It is well run with welcoming hosts and support staff. It is very reasonably priced and nothing is a bother to staff. I will definitely be back, availability permitting.

There is free parking at the guesthouse or they’ll hold on to your bags. Get there in enough time to enjoy walking around town. You’ll also have a beautiful view of the loch and mountains outside.

Everything was wonderful at this awesome guest house from the friendly service to the relaxed atmosphere. It’s along time since we have experienced such a personal touch. Phil & Carmen went above & beyond to ensure all was perfect for us. Nothing is Amy trouble to them at all. This place serves the best ever breakfast. The best in our 2 week break & indeed in a long time, which just topped it all off. If you like good quality local produce & plenty of it’s here! Can’t fault attention to detail with cleanliness & comfort either. Coffee is also super & a nice selection of ale & whiskey at the little bar in a cosy inviting lounge area. We also loved the covered outside seating area & Breakfast room, both of which provided lovely views over Loch Linhe. We would highly recommend & can’t wait to return. The house is cozy and comfortable to the max. Breakfast is a smorgasbord of deliciousness and Phil and Carmen are an absolute delight. Morven also is hilarious and very friendly. We loved our time here immensely. Phil's pictures decorating the house are beautiful.

It's close to the city center/bus. There are board games in the bar so you could easily stay in every night.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Guisachan. Carmen and Phill were incredibly helpful when we were booking and everyone at the guesthouse looked after us really well. Our room was comfortable and had an amazing view over the loch and the mountains beyond. There was a great choice at breakfast (though we do recommend the porridge!) It is also within an easy walk of the station and the town. We would certainly stay there again.

Final stop on our West Highland Way getaway, definitely saved the best till last! Stunning location, beautiful views, super friendly welcome! Bathrooms are immaculate, rooms are beautifully decorated with quality furniture and the comfiest beds. Breakfast was awesome; so much choice (mainly locally sourced produce) so fresh and so perfectly cooked and presented. On our departure day we weren’t leaving Fort William until late afternoon; being able to leave our luggage on the premises and have the use of the communal area for as long as we wanted was a fantastic bonus for us, we were able to enjoy a wander round Fort William then relax in the lounge waiting for our transport. A well deserved 5 stars to Guisachan Guesthouse!

The highlight of our trip to Scotland. Phill and Carmen have created a very special destination with their guesthouse. Their staff are amazing. And Phill and Carmen were really helpful in assisting with a marriage proposal - which we will be forever grateful for.

The Guisachan Guesthouse is brilliantly located near Fort William’s high street where we found a couple of great dining options - the Geographer and Garrison West.
